Youth centre Dynamo is going to coach young musicians to introduce them to the music industry. Band coach Bart Wijers will mainly focus on the business side of the music.
For instance, novice bands will receive workshops on building a fan base, arranging all finances around shows and organizing concerts.
Bands from various music styles can apply for an intake interview with the band coach.
The 26-year-old music professional Bart Wijers has been managing the programming in Dynamo for the last five years and takes care of the management of the Pinkpop band Christopher Green and other artists. He has his own enterprise called the ‘De Klankfabriek’ (factory of sounds) where young talented artists get a chance in the music industry.
The band coaching takes place in the basement of the Dynamo centre.
