Kunduz trainers back in Netherlands

On Wednesday hundred Dutch soldiers arrived at Eindhoven airbase from Kunduz . They were stationed in the Afghan province for the police training mission.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defence. On 1 July the Dutch mission ended and the responsibility was transferred to the Afghans themselves.Originally it was intended that the Netherlands would stay until mid next year. But because ally Germany broke off their mission earlier, the Dutch cabinet decided to also end their assignment sooner. The withdrawal from Kunduz should be completed around 1 October.
