Eindhovener killed in glider crash

In Malden (Gelderland), a glider crashed Wednesday afternoon. The pilot, a native of Eindhoven,  died in the accident.

The plane came from the Malden airfield and took part in a military contest. The plane landed on the runway, but crashed. The man was the only occupant.The Civil Aviation Authority started an investigation. The access roads to the airport are blocked.The pilot was a soldier. The open military gliding championships have been suspended.
