Students from the TU/e are building a new solar car for the World Solar Challenge held in Australia this October. Normally there is only space for one driver in a solar car, but the Solar Team Eindhoven want to build a car for four people.
The car will take part in the special cruiser-category. In this category not only does speed count, but also the number of people in the car and comfort are also important.
On July 4, the car will be presented and then transported to Australia. On October 6, the Eindhoven team will be ready to start the World Solar Challenge.
