Point-One and HTSP join forces

EINDHOVEN /ZOETERMEER – Point -One and HTSP (High Tech Systems Platform) are merging. The new organization is called High Tech NL.  High Tech NL will start on 1 January 2013. This new cooperation aims to strengthen the international competitiveness of the Dutch high-tech sector.

High Tech NL is one of the first partners of the Foundation Holland High Tech. It has strong growth ambitions and wants to more than double the export sector from € 32 billion in 2009 to € 77 billion in 2020. Amandus Lundqvist, the current president of Point-One and HTSP and from 1 January chairman of Holland High Tech: “With a clear and powerful organized support we can achieve common goals faster and we can make a solid fist.” The goals concern the whole of the Netherlands.The activities of Holland High Tech are grouped into four program lines: 1.    Innovation: joint implementation of R & D activities and growth of SMEs2.    Human Capital: more and better technicians available for the technology industry3.    Strengthening the supply chain4.    Holland High Tech surf at home and abroadHolland High Tech joins FME. The FME-CWM is the trade association for the technology industry and has 2500 member companies.
