NXP does not agree with trade unions

EINDHOVEN – NXP collided with the trade unions (Metal and Electro) about labour and salary agreements for the NXP employees.

A final proposal was rejected by the union after they consulted their members. They did not find the offer in line with other relevant collective agreements, such as those of Philips and of Metalektro.NXP does not want to make a new, more far-reaching proposal. According to the final proposal made, the workers of NXP will receive a pay increase of one percent per 1 January 2013 and a one-time payment of 0.75% of the yearly salary on 1 March 2013. Also, bonus schemes will be converted into structural wage rises.
