Dogs bite dachshund to death and wound a man in Helmond

HELMOND – On Saturday, two dogs on the Scheerderhof in Helmond bit a dachshund to death and bit a bystander, who wanted to rescue the dachshund, in his hands.

This appeared from tweets that the police sergeant from the Helmond neighborhood Rijpelburg was sending on Tuesday.According to the police, the two dogs are Staffordshire bull terriers. The animals were seized and taken to a shelter. In the owner’s home the police found a similar dog and some puppies, which were also seized.The owner of the dachshund and the man who was bitten both filed a complaint.Source: Omroep Brabant
