Hungarian arrested for car jacking Floraplein

EINDHOVEN – A 19-year-old Hungarian forced an Eindhoven woman in May of this year to drive to Maastricht.

On 18 May around 11:30 hrs he jumped into the back of the car from the woman on the Floraplein.Underway the 35-year-old woman from Son and Breugel was able to escape at a roadway restaurant near Nederweert. The perpetrator continued on in her vehicle which was later found in Hungary and seized. After the investigation the vehicle was returned to the rightful owner.After the car jacking the police issued a European warrant, which was the basis for his arrest by the Hungarian police.
