VELDHOVEN – The two former directors of clinic AddictionCare in Veldhoven belonged last year to the big earners in mental health.
This appears from an examination of the trade magazine ‘Psy’.Niels Schellen earned last year 251.000 euros including 132.000 euros gross expenses allowance. He thus stands in sixth place nationally of best paid executives.Immediately after him comes his colleague Bas de Bont. He earned 246.000 euros last year, including 92.000 euros gross expenses allowance.They are experience experts who founded the addiction treatment institution.Schellen was convicted for intentionally running a car onto a terrace. De Bont was running amok in an airplane. Both were under the influence of alcohol and drugs in these incidents and have therefore been dismissed late 2011.Source: Omroep Brabant
