This weekend sees the twelfth edition of the annual modelling fair, Scale Model Challenge. This international show will be held at Koningshof in Veldhoven and is one of the world’s leading events in modelling. It has built a solid international reputation.
Over 200 exhibitors and modelling clubs from all over the world will be attending SMC to showcase their new kits, figures, and tabletop games. Visitors can also view the achievements of several modellers exhibiting their builds at the club tables and various competitions. The competitions at SMC have over 2 000 entries. Besides that, there will also be workshops and demonstrations over the whole weekend.
Children until 14 years can visit the Kids Club where they can build a model under supervision for free. They can then take this model home.

The fair will be on 20 and 21 October 2018 at the NH Eindhoven Conference Centre in Koningshof, 5514 RM Eindhoven. Opening hours are from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturday and from 10:00 until 16:30 on Sunday. Day tickets cost € 7.00 (€5.00 for ages 6 to 14) with a two-day ticket costing €12.00 (6-14, €10.00). Children under the age of six have free admission.
