Mission Eureka by Philips Museum

November 25, 2020 @ 08:00 - 17:00

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 08:00, repeating until November 30, 2020

Mission Eureka by Philips Museum provides you with insights in Philips inventions, that remain secret for other visitors…

Mission Eureka is an innovative group game about more than 100 years of Philips inventions for everyone aged 8 years and upwards.

How to play

You play Mission Eureka by Philips Museum with your friends, parents or grandpa and grandma in a team of 2, 3 or 4 persons. The game presents you with 8 different challenges you have to solve together. Touch a station in the Philips Museum with the iPad and a challenge starts. Together you’ll discover how LED light works or what X-ray does. It changes your visit to the Philips Museum.

Mission Eureka takes about 60 minutes and is also suitable for educational purposes. For children under 12 years collaboration with adults is required.

The game can be played in Dutch, English, French and Spanish.

The museum visit is almost as usual. However, they have taken the following measures to make your visit as safe as possible.

  1. Wearing a mouth mask in the museum is mandatory from Wednesday 30 September. Except for children up to 13 years old. We do this on the basis of advice from the Brabant Southeast safety region. Visitors also indicated in our survey that they liked this.
  2. Pre-booking your ticket (s) is (again) mandatory. A maximum of 10 visitors per 15 minutes can enter.
  3.  In order to guarantee the 1.5 meter distance rule, arrows have been placed in the museum to make the one-way traffic clear. There can be a limited number of people per room, we indicate this clearly per room.
  4. You can scan your ticket yourself at the ticket office, printing is not necessary, showing the ticket on your phone is enough. Let us know at the checkout if you had ordered extra products, such as the iPad game Mission Eureka or the Lampjes Speurtocht.
  5. Tours can be booked again, at fixed times and for groups with a maximum size. Outdoor tours are also available! Book your tour here.
  6. If you or someone in your party has Corona-related health complaints, we ask you to postpone the visit. Changing the date on your e-ticket is only possible for this reason, via this telephone number: 06-28744155.
  7. You can only pay by debit or credit card.
  8. Various points for disinfecting your hands and contact surfaces are also frequently and carefully cleaned.
