Merhaba Eindhoven! Bazaar and Concert

The festival Merhaba Eindhoven will take place on Saturday 24 September! place in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. This day is dedicated to Turkish culture.

The doors will open from 12:00. The afternoon is devoted to Turkish culture with music, a colorful bazaar, food and drinks and fun children’s activities. The entire afternoon DJ Blue Flamingo will play the best music. Workshops will also take place during the day, children can be painted and there will be food trucks with the best food. The afternoon program lasts from 12:00-17:00. A ticket for this afternoon program costs €3,50. When bought in combination with a ticket for the evening program, it costs €2,50. Afterwards you are very welcome for a delicious Turkish dinner in Meneer Frits for an additional charge.

Raki Masterclass
In the evening a Raki Masterclass is given by Ugur Pekdemir. In this mini workshop you will be taken into the culture of Raki (history, music, poetry and many other things worth knowing). Of course, while enjoying a tasting of two different types of raki and accompanying mezes.Tickets for this are available from mid-August. The proceeds will go to the Emre Foundation.

From 19:00 the doors open and the evening program of the festival day begins. At 19:15 Emirhan Tuğa & Edzo Bos will play Turkish classical music in the Kleine Zaal with their Turkish Recital and at this time the choir Eindhoven Türk Halk Müziği Korosu will also perform in the Eerste Foyer. At 20:00 the ensemble Tombaz will play Turkish tango in the Tweede Foyer. At 21:00 Turkish star Sertab Erener will give an exclusive concert in the Grote Zaal as the festival day’s headliner, it costs €38,5. We will then close the evening with a dazzling performance by Music From The Orient.
