The Dutch Student Orchestra is a national project orchestra filled with ambitious young students who pursue classical music at a high level alongside their studies. Under the direction of conductor Chloe Rooke, they perform the grandiose work ‘Symphonie Fantastique‘ by Hector Berlioz. In the commissioned composition ‘Ludus‘, Karmit Fadael explores the tensions, sensations, and transgressive emotions that come with playful love. Viola soloist Dana Zemtsov takes the spotlight with William Walton’s remarkable viola concerto. This edition of the Dutch Student Orchestra consists of a month filled with endless ‘Madness’!
