On Sunday the 10th of March the Eindhoven Chess Association (Eindhovense Schaakvereniging, SV Eindhoven) organizes the fourth Eindhoven pub chess afternoon.

SV Eindhoven recently won an Eindhoven sportsaward to encourage the association to continue your their great work, where it was mentioned that 60% of their youth members are children from expat families.

It’s a casual chess tournament open for everyone from beginner to master level. It will be more about having a good time and socializing than the results of the games. There will be prizes for the best scoring players though. Not yet at the master level? There’s prizes for the best home player, and best student. Food and drinks can be bought at the bar, please don’t bring your own.
