Apple picking days | Philips Fruittuin
September 20 @ 09:00 - 16:00
|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every week that begins at 09:00 on Sunday and Saturday, repeating until September 20, 2020
The annual apple picking days at the Philips Fruittuin will continue this year too.
Background: The Philips Fruit Garden is situated in the northwest corner of Eindhoven. It was founded in 1929 by Anton Philips and is a twelve hectare orchard. Right next to this orchard is a meeting center, a pancake restaurant and a farm shop with local products.
Activity: The first three weekends in September are reserved as special apple picking days. On these special days you can pick apples and pears yourself. An apple or pear straight from the orchard is really the best! After picking you can enjoy a pancake in the restaurant or bake an apple pie at home from the picked apples.
Ticket: This year you will have to purchase entrance ticket. This is to ensure rules and guidelines of the RIVM are follwed. The price of the tickets includes a bag. The entrance is located at the front of the orchard, so that the shop and the pancake house can still be visited without a ticket. Admission is free for children under 4 years old.
