Hyperspace Institute to promote AR and VR in Brainport

The Hyperspace Institute was launched on Wednesday in the Effenaar during Dutch Technology Week.

The Hyperspace Institute is an association for experts in the field of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). They want to make the most of all the knowledge there is in the region about VR and AR. In recent years, these two techniques have grown enormously and become more accessible to the ordinary citizen.

During the Dutch Technology Week, much use was made of the two techniques for exhibitions. However, AR and VR can not only be used properly within the culture and entertainment sector. For example, education, architecture, and the healthcare sectors can also benefit from these techniques.

Since there is an enormous high-tech sector in the Brainport region, the Hyperspace Institute thinks there is a big future for VR and AR in this region. The institute wants to ensure that their technique is used in the best possible way. The association, therefore, is going to have dialogues with educational institutions, industry associations and in fact, with the entire Brainport area to see what is possible.
