Connecting as many people as possible in 40 hours

Fontys Hogeschool Communicatie in Eindhoven is celebrating its 40-year jubilee in a special way.

The oldest communication course in the Netherlands wants to connect different target groups in Eindhoven during a 40-hour project. Both teachers and students are working together on this unique project.

The students must come up with ways to bring people into contact with each other, with the aim that both groups have something to do with this. Consideration should be given to cooperation between students and expats or artists and catering businesses.

The students must pitch their ideas to city councillors and local businesspeople on Friday. They can ‘adopt’ the students’ projects if they promise to do something with them.

It is one of the many activities around the college’s 40-year celebration in Eindhoven. On Friday evening there will also be a big reunion for all students who have studied communication in the city for the past 40 years.
