Liberation festival on Ketelhuisplein

Eindhoven is not a city of liberation parties. After all, the city was only freed on 18 September 1944. Nonetheless, on Liberation Day, Saturday 5 May, this emancipation will be commemorated on Ketelhuisplein.

There, the fourth edition of the Dynamo liberation festival ‘Freedom’ will be held. Demonstrations by ‘urban athletes’, such as freerunners and BMX riders, will be given on the square. There will also be space for street football.

The music will be provided by DJ’s and rappers from the HipHopLab 040 and BPM talent programmes.

The festival is free of charge.
