Surf fanatics in Eindhoven and surroundings can indulge themselves: there will be an indoor surfing center in the city.
In Woensel-Noord on the Vijfkamplaan ‘Dutch Indoor Surf’ will be established, the first indoor surf course of Brabant. It is an initiative of Nicole Sabajo and her daughter Djeny, both fanatical surfers.
Idea
They had been playing with the idea for ten years, but it did not get off the ground. They picked it up again two years ago. ‘We thought, this is missing in Eindhoven. You can ski, climb and go karting here, but you cannot surf, ‘says Djeny.
July open
They will wait a while until all permits are complete, but Djeny and her mother expect to start soon. ‘The building will soon be there and we are sure to be open in July.’
