The storm in January caused damage to municipal property for more than 600,000 euros.

Especially to trees, a lot of damage was caused on 18 January. In total, about 280 trees were downed. That cost the municipality of Eindhoven about half a million euros. The costs were mainly in the clean-up work and the replanting of the trees.

Buildings

108,000 euros damage was also caused to other municipal property. For example, schools and sports facilities.

At the Stedelijk College on the Oude Bosschebaan 20 a solar panel and part of the air treatment system came down. At elementary school de Vuurvlinder in Blixembosch, part of the façade blew down from the first floor.
