Lozano possibly playing against Feyenoord

Hirving Lozano must appear before the KNVB (national football federation) disciplinary committee on Thursday.

PSV received a three-match settlement proposal from the prosecutor professional football, but did not accept this penalty. The attacker and PSV can now defend themselves on Thursday while the prosecutor can submit a sentence. The disciplinary committee will already make a ruling on Friday.

If Hirving Lozano is acquitted, he can participate in the top match Feyenoord-PSV on Sunday. If the Mexican receives a penalty, he is suspended for that match anyway, even if PSV appeals. In the case of a direct red card, an appeal does not have a suspensive effect.

Red card
Lozano received a direct red card from referee Higler in the home match against Heerenveen. The PSV attacker would have given his opponent an elbow/slap in the face.

PSV, but also many football analysts find the red card a too heavy penalty for Lozano. PSV lost a 2-0 lead against the Frisians with ten men. The team from Cocu suffered a costly loss in points with the 2-2 draw.
