Three Spaniards were arrested for Monday night’s hostage-taking at the Van der Valk Hotel in Eindhoven.

The third suspect was in the parking lot of the hotel. When officers came to check the area, the suspect drove away in a car. The vehicle was stopped in Waalre. A weapon was found in possession of the 40-year-old driver.

It was already known that the police arrested two men from Spain on Monday evening in a room of the hotel. The men are 39 and 34 years old. No one was injured in the alleged hostage-taking. All suspects are detained. The police are still investigating what exactly happened.
