Hemp nursery found in Geldrop house

Police found two kilograms of hemp buds in a house on Geldrop’s Ter Borghstraat on Saturday.

A recently harvested hemp nursery was found in the barn of the house. The hemp was confiscated and the nursery shut down, while the resident of the house was taken into custody.

Because of the so-called Damoclesbeleid, it is highly likely that Mayor Berry Link – who has a zero-tolerance policy for drug-related crime – will close down the property for three months or more.
