The 39-year old man who was arrested for the shooting at Aquabest recently, is no longer in custody. This was announced by the Office of the Public Prosecutor.
The man was arrested on 10 November, and has been in pre-trial detention, with restrictions in place. He was not allowed to have any contact with the outside world, with the exception of his lawyer. This was to ensure that he could not influence the investigation.
At the shooting incident, which occurred at Aquabest on 5 November, a 33-year old man, Yassine Majiti, from Den Bosch sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Another person was slightly injured.
The investigation is ongoing. More witnesses are still being questioned in order to determine exact events leading to the shooting.
Next year, on 13 February, the suspect will appear in court for the first time for a pre-trial hearing.
