Foundation Samen voor Eindhoven has collected winter clothes for homeless people, the elderly and underprivileged young people. Together with volunteers, the warm clothes are sorted and distributed this week. It’s about winter jackets, hats, scarves, socks and mittens.
Samen voor Eindhoven connects small and large companies like ASML and Philips with civil society organizations. The idea is that employees spend one day working as a volunteer for society in distress.
The warm clothes go to organizations such as the Kledingbank (Clothes Bank), Dress for Success, Neos and the Leger des Heils (Army of Salvation). They make sure that the items go to the people who need it.
