Studio Giftig (Toxic) has started a new graffiti mural on a wall along Eindhoven’s Nieuwe Emmasingel, in the city centre.
Previous artwork by Studio Giftig has featured in Strijp-S, at the PSV stadium, and in the Ekkersrijt tunnel.
While past projects have typically had an assigned them, the artistic duo will go their own way for the latest piece with a special theme: ’til death do us part.
Many parts of the city are covered in graffiti which the council called an “eyesore” that is expensive and time-consuming to clean. An unwritten rule in the graffiti community is that artists never spray over another’s work, something the council hopes will hold true for Studio Giftig’s artwork, to avoid cleaning fees.
