The Proeftuin Licht around the pond next to Eckart Shopping Center has been opened since yesterday. The interactive lighting provides a smart route for walkers and runners.
The new interactive lighting should make the neighborhood more beautiful and safer. In addition, it stimulates physical exercise. Around the pond there are lights placed on the ground that last for a few seconds to allow runners to follow.
The route has four types: there is a route for easy walking, walking at a fast pace, running calmly and running for advanced.
The smart exercise route has emerged from the wishes of physical therapists and neighborhood residents.
