Eindhoven Airport continues to grow rapidly. In the last nine months, 23 percent more passengers made use of the airport than in the same period last year.
In total, the growth is over 800,000 travelers. Overall, the airport had nearly 4.4 million passengers taking off or landing through Eindhoven over the first three quarters of the year.
According to Eindhoven Airport, the growth is mainly due to the increase in destinations, such as Rabat, Kiev and Edinburgh. The planes were also fuller.
If the growth continues, the airport expects to reach 5.7 million passengers this year. That would be a million more than in 2016.
