Discovering, testing and information about sustainability. At the Andere Mert Regenboogfestival (Rainbow Festival) this year, a scientist of Mad Science will be present.

The Andere Mert Regenboogfestival is an annual event in Geldrop on the theme of sustainability, social initiatives and diversity. During the festival, all kinds of examples of a sustainable lifestyle can be found.

Therefore, children can also do tests that are related to sustainability, such as friction energy. The trials are accompanied by Mad Science, a company that provides educational science projects for children.

The Mad Science experiments are on the ‘D100 square’ which will be present at the festival this year. Here are also other organizations that promote sustainability, such as the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo and Milieudefensie.

The D100 is a citizens’ initiative of Platform Duurzaam Geldrop-Mierlo, with a group of 100 residents committed to sustainability at local level. On October 10th, a meeting of the D100 will be organized in the Kasteelhoeve Geldrop.

The Andere Mert Regenboogfestival will take place on September 29th around Kasteel Geldrop between 12:00 and 17:00. Access is free.
