12 kilos of cocaine intercepted, two men arrested

Two men were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking at the Ekkersrijt shopping centre in Son on Friday. The police intercepted 12 kilograms of cocaine, with a street value of €600,000.

Officers observed one of the men handing over a large bag to the second suspect. Ten packs of cocaine were found in the bag during a subsequent check.

The suspects are a 28-year-old Lithuanian and a 25-year-old Albanian. They were arrested immediately and are still in custody. Their vehicles have also been seized.
