On Thursday evening, the fire department was called, en masse, to a fire on the 25th floor of the Vesteda Tower in Eindhoven.
The fire was reported at about 20:40 that evening. Fire trucks raced to Vestdijk. The residents of the affected flat put the fire out themselves, so the fire department just a check.
It is suspected that the cause of the fire turned out to be a tree that was on a balcony. The cord of lights on this tree got got in the door and caused a short. No-on was injured.
