Refugee opens Eindhoven’s first Syrian restaurant

A refugee has opened the first Syrian restaurant in Eindhoven.

 
Aziz Khedrou, who fled Syria three years ago, previously owned a restaurant in Damascus. After arriving in Eindhoven, he took Dutch lessons before opening his new eatery.

Syrian restaurant Aziz opened a month ago in Winkelcentrum Woensel. Opening hours are 11:00 – 20:00 Saturday to Thursday, and 11:00 – 21:00 on Friday.
