EMOVES To Be Held In Eindhoven

Next weekend, urban culture is taking over Eindhoven. The Urban Culture Festival, EMOVES 2017, takes place on 16, 17 and 18 June. About 1 500 artists and participants from more than 40 countries will take part in more than 15 events throughout the city.

Every year, Eindhoven is EMOVES’ stage where they host various competitions, events, shows, projects, seminars and exhibitions. There will be free, and ticketed, events taking place throughout the weekend.  Among the thousands of artists and performers will about 150 graffiti artists from around the world. They will transform the Berenkuil with letters, cartoons and postmodern graffiti.

BMX freestylers and Freerunners from all over Europe will also compete in two separate events at 18 Septemberplein and the Klokgebouw. The other four venues are the Effenaar, The Student Hotel, MU Art Space, and the AreaFiftyOne Skatepark. The highlights of EMOVES 2017 include “Step in the Arena”, “Shut up and Trick” and “Hop the Block”.
