Talk on health care for parents of children aged 4-18

On 19 May 2017, Doctor Oei, Child and Youth Healthcare Physician, together with GP Baard of SGE International are holding a talk with information on physical and mental health aspects of children from four to eighteen-years-old.

Questions like

What entails the Dutch preventive health care program?
What screening is done for this age group?
Is it possible to get advice in raising children?
What are the common diseases or complaints of this age group?
When do I need to go the GP/ family doctor (huisarts) with my kid? What are the symptoms to look out for?
Can I see a specialist (in the hospital)?
and many more will be answered.

SGE International and GGD Eindhoven realise living in the Netherlands with children is an extra challenge on health issues as things go differently here.

Like, once you live in the Netherlands, you and your children automatically enroll in the Dutch preventive health program and values and customs regarding seeing a doctor or specialist or using medication are also distinctive. Talks on various health related subjects are held regularly by SGE International health care centre.

Entrance is free but please register at international@sge.nl.

The talk will be held in the presentation room at the ground floor of Office-S, Torenallee 20 on Strijp S in Eindhoven from 10:30h to 12:00h.
