The search for a body in the Wilhelminakanaal in Oirschot was resumed yesterday. So far, only a dead cat has been found.
On Saturday evening, the police and fire department began the search for a body in the Kanaaldijk Noord area. A passerby saw something in the water and raised the alarm.
Both sides of the canal was searched with multiple units and a police helicopter. The lock in Wilhelminakanaal was temporarily drained to aid in the search.
