A man threw a paving stone through a window of the Eindhoven police station. This same man broke a window at the Catharina Hospital earlier. He has been arrested.

The police initially arrested him at the hospital and took him to the station. At the station, the man repeatedly asked for professional help. He is known to the GGZe (Eindhoven’s Mental Health Service).

Officers told him he could not get help in that way and told him to consult with his therapist. He received a summons and was released. Once outside, the man picked up a paving stone and threw in through the station’s window.

He was arrested for a second time and will have to appear in court.
