Patients warned to expect queues at GP during spring holiday

A large influx of patients is expected at private family doctor practices in Eindhoven, Geldrop, and Helmond during the upcoming spring holidays.

Regular GP offices will be closed, meaning all patients will be referred to private practices. The practices have warned patients to expect waiting times both on the telephone and at the doctor’s office.

Patients wanting to see a doctor are advised to call in before Easter if possible, and ensure they have enough medication.

Queues are mainly expected on the Paasdagen (Easter Days), Koningsdag (King’s Day), Hemelvaartsdag (Ascension Day) and Pinksteren (Pentecost).
