Aeroplane en route to Eindhoven makes emergency landing, man dies

An aeroplane en route from Faro in Portugal to Eindhoven had to make an emergency landing on Friday night. A man aboard the plane became unwell. He is said to have passed away since then, reports Eindhovens Dagblad

The Transavia aircraft was diverted to Nantes, in France, and landed there. Emergency services intervened. But were unable to rescue the man. The man is reported tob e a Dutch national

After the emergency stop in Nantes the craft resumed its voyage to Eindhoven Airport.
