Official launch for International School expansion

The expansion of the International School (ISE) was given the green light today. A new building for the primary school will be built on the campus, with space for an extra 200 extra pupils.

The accelerated expansion is necessary because the ISE is growing faster than expected. There are more and more international knowledge workers coming to the Eindhoven region. Ten additional classrooms and two bilingual classrooms will be built on the campus.

ISE campus director Roy While says the current expansion is not really future proof. There are already plans for further enlargement and funding for this is available from the government.

International education is vital for the potential growth of the Brainport region. The ISE campus must ensure that the economic area is more attractive to knowledge workers.

The ISE campus is more than just a school. On site there is an established child/after school care, a library, a restaurant, a running track, and multi-purpose sports field. The campus, therefore, also serves as a meeting point.
