Climbing frame tent in Henri Dunant Park

The mega climbing frame at the Henri Dunant Park has been temporarily transformed into a tent so that the residents of neighbourhood can meet and brainstorm with each other. It was the project of Social Designer Rocco Verdult, and the very building of the tent brought residents together.

When it was finally erected, the climbing frame tent proved to be very cosy, and over a hundred residents and other interested parties came together. The subject discussed was: what else can we use such a great tent for? The ideas ranged from a dinner evening, to watching the World Cup together, to staging a rap battle.

So this is probably not the last time that we will see this climbing frame tent. And Eindhoven has eight other similar climbing frames, so it could even be taken on tour!
