The Eindhoven student team, who made a world trip with the electric motorbike Storm, is home. The 23 TU/e students arrived back at the university last night.
The team travelled the world in 80 days – from Europe to Central Asia, China and the United States. Yesterday was the final stage – from Paris to Eindhoven.
The students built the electric motorbike themselves. The battery had to be changed every 400 kilometres. The engine is silent and consumes very little energy, and can cover great distances.
