Light festival GLOW starts in a week – what is there to see?

There is just one week until GLOW projects light up the city again. This year is the 11th edition of the Eindhoven festival of lights.

There are two different routes which will overlap. Combined, they total around 7km. There are around 40 projects to see. There is also the “ordinary GLOW route” with space for projects such as swings by Wannaplay.

A new show can also be seen at the Catharina Church. This is based on Hieronymus Bosch, to celebrate his 500th anniversary this year. It was designed by Les Orpailleurs de Lumière. The church has also been featured in previous editions of GLOW.

The GLOW Science route, which replaces the former GLOW Next, is on the grounds of the TU/e. There visitors can see, among other things, a huge lightning bolt and a TESLA coil.

GLOW is a free event and runs from November 12 to 19.
