Electric buses in Eindhoven get tram bell

The electric buses that are going to run in Eindhoven and Helmond will have a ‘tram bell’.

Because the buses are so quiet, people (almost) do not hear the buses arrive. Therefore, the buses get a tram bell, allowing pedestrians and cyclists to hear them approaching. With that, safety should be increased.

As of December 11, 43 electric buses will be driving in Eindhoven and Helmond. In 2024 all public transport in North Brabant should be sustainable.
