Brainport vision aims to make education “more international”

A new Brainport education initiative hopes to bring a more ‘international character’ to primary, secondary, and vocational education in the area.

The vision, which several different Brainport institutions hope to implement over the next five years, is aimed at workers from varying educational backgrounds who are confronted with many different cultures and customs in the international environments of high-tech organizations. The value of learning English and other languages is emphasised.

We are the Future also seeks to embrace cultural diversity in the Brainport region, saying that skilled workers, migrant workers, and refugees must be able to communicate and work together on a common level.
