Police have arrested a 19-year-old boy who is suspected of a shop burglary on the Aalsterweg this morning. He was arrested at his home in Tongelre.
The burglary took place this morning around 6:30 am. A neighbour was awakened by noise and alerted the police. The front door was broken and money was taken from the store.
On the basis of video surveillance footage, the police was able to track the suspect down. He was arrested around 9:40 pm later that morning. Items that could have to do with the burglary were found in his house.
