After the construction of the Mediterranean project Volta Galvani in Woensel West, a second colorful project is started.
Children from the neighborhood kicked off th Celsius in Fahrenheit Square project.
The Trudo housing cooperative will replace the old Celciusplein 400 homes with new buildings. These will be mainly social rented homes and low-cost business premises.
The big difference with Galvani Volta, situated at the beginning of the Edison Street, is mainly due to the landscaping. Not only does the color green have a prominent place near the houses, but in the intervening lawns and gardens is also a lot of vegetation.
The new Celsius Area will be built in four phases. The first part at the Edisonstraat will start today and be ready for before the construction holiday next summer.
