Popup Promenade winning idea to connect Strijp-S

The Popup Promenade is elected as winning idea in the Ideeënvijver 2016 (Idea Pond) contest. The idea of Mathijs Dielissen won from nearly a hundred other ideas, in a contest organized by the Ideeënvijver.nl crowdfunding campaigns. The question they posed was how would you connect the center with Strijp-S?

The winning idea is to have boxes along the route, where students and designer can put in their goods up on display. Since the boxes will have different people in them each time, it will give some variation when passing by frequently.

The jury assessed the ideas on such criteria as ‘funwaarde’, innovation and sustainability, and of course checked for Technology, Design and Knowledge, the DNA of Eindhoven.
