60 years of fun for kids at annual Polvo camp

Over the last sixty years, many children aged 7 to 12 have enjoyed a week of organised activities at the annual Polvo camp in Riethoven.

The summer camp came into being in 1955 when the Dutch Scouting celebrated its 25th anniversary. In cooperation with the police, a camp was created for children who were unable to go on a holiday with their parents. An instant success, the camp soon became an annual event.

This year, the camp is already in full swing at the cabin house in Riethoven, and will last until next week.
