Police still searching for Kruidvat Meerplein assailant

The police is still searching for the man who tried to rob the Kruidvat store at Meerplein in Meerhoven, Eindhoven. The attempted robbery took place last month. The police department has posted footage of the suspect on Facebook.

The suspect entered the store on Wednesday, 11 May 2016, around 13:10 hrs. He threatened the cashier with a knife. He then demanded money. Eventually, the suspect came to the conclusion that he had waited long enough for the money. He, therefore, decided to leave the store without the loot.

The police department hopes that someone might recognize the assailant from the footage posted on Facebook and will provide the police, with further information as to his identity.
