Vandalism threatens students’ happy hours

The event spaces at TU/e are threatened by temporarily closure due to vandalism.

Thursday afternoon during happy hour, Eindhoven student associations Simon Stevin and Protagoras’ meeting ran out of control, as reported by university magazine Cursor.

For example, a student from Protagoras recently made a hole in a plaster wall, a few weeks later a toilet visitor from Steven Simon made a hole between two urinals. The happy hour rooms are next to each other in the basement of Gemini Noord.

The student associations should probably bear the costs. The associations call students to behave themselves during their cocktail sessions.
